Welcome To My Portfolio
Currently, I am a geographer pursuing a Master’s degree in Applied Geoinformatics at the University of Salzburg. The programme integrates methodological and technical components of geoinformatics, fostering a comprehensive understanding of spatial data and its applications in research and practice.
In 2025, I graduated with a B.Sc. in Geography from the University of Innsbruck, where my thesis focused on the automation of geodata analysis for monitoring alpine vegetation phenology using remote sensing time series. Alongside my geoinformatics education, I gained complementary experience in computer science through courses in programming (Java, C, Haskell, Julia, SQL), databases, algorithms and data structures, and linear algebra.
Previous work experience includes a two-month internship at the Austrian Alpine Club (Österreichischer Alpenverein) in Innsbruck, where I supported the Cartography & Geoinformation team in digitizing base data for new maps using ArcGIS, conducted geospatial data acquisition and research, and assisted in fieldwork for the maintenance of spatial datasets.
I am particularly interested in the technical and analytical dimensions of geoinformatics — such as geospatial software development, workflow automation, and the integration of spatial data within broader analytical and infrastructural contexts.
